Open to full-time APM / PM roles

Product manager. I write the SQL myself, then argue about what it means.

I have done two PM internships at early-stage startups, across health-tech, fintech and B2B SaaS. Both were the same job underneath: turn a vague ask into something a team can actually build.

Lead project

Founder Desk dashboard greeting Chaitanya, with four stats (next deadline Oct 26, 2026, nothing overdue, 0 of 2 done this quarter, estimated annual cost), a Next deadlines list with Unverified, Reviewed and Verified badges, and an Action items card reading You're clear.

One desk for what Delaware, the IRS and India expect next. Every date carries a badge saying how far to trust it.

Founder Desk

A compliance desk for founders running a US company from India. A personalised deadline calendar, a Delaware franchise tax checker, and an AI inbox that reads notices and turns them into dated, reviewable deadlines.

Second Take on desktop: a phone showing the end of a scene (Papa ended open, 35 XP, a scorecard of 90 out of 100 and a skill breakdown), with a creator card on the left and a scene summary panel on the right showing a rising mood line, four skill bars and the two triggers the player hit.

Every partner reacts for a reason. The panel beside the phone shows which of those reasons your replies hit.

Second Take

A practice room for the conversations people replay in their heads. Three written scenes where each partner has a hidden want and clear triggers, and every reply gets honest, line-by-line feedback.

Vibeshelf home screen: the headline Your next obsession is one vibe away over three category cards — Books, Movies and TV, and Games.

One entry field instead of a genre tree — the whole product argument, on the first screen.

Vibeshelf

A recommendation engine that takes "cozy adventure like a Miyazaki film" and returns books, films and games in one place. Built with one other person over a hackathon weekend — I owned the framing, scope and design, she owned the backend.

Power BI fraud dashboard: KPI tiles reading 4.02M total transaction value, 181K fraud count over 30 days, 3.73 percent average fraud rate and 21K flagged transactions, above breakdowns by device type, email domain, amount bucket and risk tier, a fraud-by-hour line chart, and two detail tables listing high-risk fraud cases and velocity anomalies.

Both signals are on the page with the rows that triggered them. Six transactions in ten minutes is the velocity threshold — a number in a WHERE clause, which is the whole reason an analyst can retune it without a retrain.

UPI fraud detection analytics

590K Two auditable fraud signals across 590K UPI transactions. I built it in SQL rather than training a classifier, so a risk analyst can retune a threshold in an afternoon instead of waiting on a retrain. That trades away some recall to keep the system explainable to the people who actually operate it.

  • Product Management Intern

Ran roadmaps and delivery across 9 client projects, sitting between the developers and the clients to turn vague requests into scoped work.

  • Product Management Intern

Ran 20 discovery interviews and turned ambiguous health-data requirements into a prioritised PRD and logic flows. High-fidelity prototypes landed two weeks ahead of schedule; the founding team reviewed the designs directly.

I studied electrical engineering at NIT Agartala and picked up a business analytics minor from IIT Mandi somewhere in the middle, which is roughly when I realised I cared more about why a product was built than how the circuit worked.

What I've built since spans fraud scoring on UPI transactions, a cross-media recommendation engine, and credit underwriting for people with no CIBIL history. Different domains, same shape of problem: modelling users the existing system handles badly.

I did the NextLeap PM Fellowship (Cohort 44) and two PM internships, and I'm looking for an APM or PM role where I can keep doing the analysis myself rather than waiting on someone else's dashboard.

Outside of this I read fiction. Currently Assassin's Apprentice, which is the first of the sixteen Robin Hobb books I've been warned about.
